Care packages (what ships well?) ive never sent one before?

i want recipes that can last a few days in a box as well as some little things for christmas, hes in hawaii and im in florida and so he has room for a lil tree that hes getting i was thinking some ornaments or something..i have no clue. i was thinking a letter, and he also has 1 roommate that i want to include. 10 pts best answer thank you in advance :) btw hes 20 if it helps and in the navy
