Does anyone know if there are rent a car companies that accept a company check as a deposit?

Well I have crossed checked many time but didn't find any company that accepts check as deposit. Most of the rental companies accept only credit and debit card. If their is a company that accepts check you need to be present in the company office to hand over the check and book a car for yourself. But that doesn't seem an ideal form of booking.
