Is it possible to get off probation by serving time?

so its been brought to my attn. by more than one police officer that their computer says i'm on probation until 2054 and that just does not seem right or even lawful, the only prob. sentence ive recieved is 3 yrs informal. anyhow, the 2054 thing is not relevant to my question, that has to be a typo or clerical error. but what i want to know is, what do i have to do to pay my debt to society and get released WITHOUT any probation? is it possible?
