Im confused! My Freeview signal was fine now its rubbish! Help!?!?

Ok so my Freeview worked fine for 6 months with very few problems but it has gradually got worse and now I get nothing! I've not changed anything - it works off an indoor ariel which i know can cause problems but it work just fine for ages! Im confused please help!!
